Emily Ritter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a master’s degree in social work in 2013. Following graduation, she worked in community mental health in Chicago and then transitioned to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs. While at the VA, Emily served veterans with various mental health concerns, specializing in addiction. Emily opened REtherapy in 2020 serving adults with a wide range of goals helping to target behavioral changes. REtherapy is currently located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.
In addition to her clinical work, Emily served as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy consultant for the VA as well as provided ongoing clinical supervision to new graduates. Emily is also a mom to one daughter and one dog. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and cooking.
